Mrs. Dean’s enthusiasm for faith and community was evident at the store’s Grand Opening on January 11, 2025, where she was joined by the mayor, local officers, family, and friends in a joyful celebration. "We are so happy to be a part of this community," she shared. "Our goal is to provide a place where people can find encouragement, wisdom, and resources to strengthen their faith."

WordUp Bible Book Store offers an extensive selection of greeting cards for every occasion, including Birthdays, Easter, Christmas, Baptism, Encouragement, Sympathy, Anniversary, Baby Dedications, Congregation Appreciation, and Thank You cards. The store is also home to unique faith-based gifts, including Abba bath salts from Jerusalem, candles and inspiring books like Danielle Halverson’s latest release, now on sale.

One of Tricia’s favorite areas of the store is the children’s section, which she is excited to expand. "I love my babies, bring them in to color, read, draw, and more!" she says. In the future, she hopes to add a TV to play Christian cartoons and movies, creating a fun and faith-filled space for little ones. Thanks to the generous support of the community, this vision is already becoming a reality—Sun Cleaners of Waukegan, Illinois, donated a 42-inch smart TV, and Mrs. Cheryl Caesar contributed a wonderful selection of toys. These donations are helping to build a welcoming, joyful environment where children can learn and grow in their faith.

Beyond offering books and gifts, Tricia is eager to network with area businesses, churches, and organizations to build strong community ties. "Faith is about connection, and I want this store to be a place where people come together, encourage one another, and find what they need to grow spiritually," she says.
